History of the brand A.H. Riise began writing in 1834. The young naturalist and pharmacist Albert Heinrich Riise was then approached by representatives of the Danish government with an offer to open the first officially recognized pharmacy in the western part of the Caribbean Sea, on the island of São Tomé.
