Aberfeldy

The distillery is situated in a lush valley at the foot of the central Highlands, in the village of Aberfeldy, a stone's throw from the birthplace of the brand's founder, John Dewar. The brand was founded in 1898.
The source of the water is the pond of the water god Pitilie Burn. It is life-giving, pure and fresh water, known to contain alluvial gold deposits.

Scottish malted barley and a longer fermentation time - which produces more flavour esters - evoke the distinctive honeyed notes of Aberfeldy Single Malt. It is then slowly distilled in Alembic copper pot stills and aged to perfection in the finest oak casks.
