Almave

Almave is a new brand of non-alcoholic agave drinks founded by Lewis Hamilton, seven-time F1 World Champion, in partnership with Mexican producer Casa Lumbre.

Hamilton created the product to offer an alternative for people who want to enjoy the authentic taste of tequila without the alcohol. The product is made from 100 % blue agave, similar to traditional tequila, but without the fermentation process, allowing the rich flavour and aroma of agave to be preserved, without the alcohol content.

Almave offers two versions of its drink: Almave Blanco, designed mainly for mixed drinks, and Almave Ámbar, which is also suitable for sipping alone.

Both versions contain just 20 calories per 60 ml serving and are designed to meet the growing demand for soft drinks without compromising on taste. Hamilton, who himself has transitioned to a healthier and more sustainable lifestyle, sees Almave as a way to enjoy social gatherings without alcohol.

Casa Lumbre and its head distiller Iván Saldaña are experts in agave spirits and have previously created products such as mezcal Montelobos and liqueur Ancho Reyes. Together with Hamilton, they have created a technology that allows the flavor profiles typical of tequila to be preserved, making Almave one of the market leaders in non-alcoholic alternatives. Almave is thus a blend of tradition and innovation that is headed for the growing market of beverages for conscious consumers.
