Armand de Brignac

Armand de Brignac Champagne is a prestigious Champagne brand created by the Cattier family. This family has a rich history as an elite champagne house in the small village of Chigny les Roses, having owned and farmed the family vineyards since 1763. Today, patriarch Jean-Jacques Cattier oversees winemaking at the château with a strictly limited annual harvest, ensuring that the family's artisanal winemaking traditions are preserved in every bottle.

The Cattier cellars are among the deepest and oldest in the Champagne region and are classified by the Comité Interprofessional du Vin de Champagne and the Institut National des Appellations d'Origine. Three architectural styles are represented in the caves: Gothic, Renaissance and Romanesque. The Armand de Brignac winery matures in a special, enclosed section of the deepest part of these cellars, 119 steps underground.

Each Armand de Brignac cuvée capitalizes on centuries spent perfecting the art of Champagne making. Armand de Brignac Champagne has won the acclaim of wine critics and connoisseurs around the world: Armand de Brignac Ace of Spades Brut Gold was voted the world's first Champagne in a blind tasting of 1,000 labels in 2010. In 2016, Armand de Brignac Champagne was also awarded the #1 Blanc de Noirs Champagne in the world. Armand de Brignac is currently owned by Shawn "Jay Z" Carter and LVMH.
