Borovička Exclusive Slovak Gin

The unique Borovička Exclusive Slovak Gin combines Slovak tradition and new trends in design.

Slovak Borovička is better known in the world as gin. Its history dates back to the middle of the 19th century, when the first references to Slovaks burning juniper were made. They made alcohol from juniper according to their own taste or even different strength.

Later, of course, this drink began to be produced on a larger scale. In 1933, the First Juniper Factory in Trenčín started to produce its own juniper drink called Juniperus.

The tradition of Fine Distillery Slovakia dates back to 1995, when a small family distillery was founded. Based on their experience with traditional distilling, the founders decided to create their own line of spirits and also a Borovička that would represent our country all over the world.

After about a year of maturation in stainless steel tanks, the alcohol is diluted to a final volume concentration of 40 % and cold filtered. The handling of the alcohol is very careful to preserve as much of the aroma and flavour as possible before the actual bottling.

The Borovička is produced in small batches of approximately 2000 bottles, which makes it exceptional and unique. The product is hand-bottled in high quality French bottles and sealed with original Italian stoppers. Finally, the bottles are hand-packed to prevent damage.

The attractive 0,7 l bottle has an original and modern design that represents the highest quality and natural character of this product from Slovakia. The bottles are supplied in gift cartons.

Unlike other Slovak Borovički, this one has pleasant, sweet notes with a balanced aroma of pine needles. Using a unique composition of juniper distillate and extra fine spirit, a very pleasant and balanced taste has been achieved.
