Boë Gin is characterized by a rare balance of herbs and spices. Juniper berries and their delicious oils are its base, complemented by aromatic coriander, angelica, ginger, orris root and cassie peel - Chinese cinnamon, orange and lemon peel, licorice, cardamom almonds and spicy Chinese litsea cubeba pepper. The taste of this gin is surprisingly pure, spicy and refreshing.
It removes blood from impurities
The drink is named after Franz de la Boë, who "created gin as a medicine" for a third of all diseases. It was Professor Franz de la Boë's recipe from 1658 that inspired the Boë Superior Gin, which is now produced in the historic center of the Scottish village of Doune. The basis of the secret recipe is a mixture of thirteen carefully selected and dosed herbs, including the rare bark Wild Cassia from the Scottish island of Isle of Skye and litsea cubeba, which is also known in the Far East as an effective aphrodisiac. According to the famous professor de la Boë, this gin is not a classic drink, but above all a medicine that “removes all impurities from the blood.
