Chateau Modra Dunaj 2021

Dry red wine Dunaj, vintage 2021 from the Slovak winery Chateau Modra with the attribute selection of grapes. It comes from the South Slovak wine-growing region.

The Dunaj variety belongs to the category of Slovak New Breeders. The variety was bred in Slovakia in 1958 by crossing the varieties Muscat Bouchet x Oporto x Svätovavrinecké.

Dunaj is a very high quality variety, which was born by the first wine breeder, Ing. Dorota Pospíšilová, CSc together with a team of breeders from the Research Institute of Viticulture Bratislava.

We recommend serving at a temperature of 15 to 17 °C. We recommend serving with substantial beef dishes, roast beef and game, as well as meats grilled on an open fire. Pairs very well with heavier natural sauces as well as spicy finishes.
