Citadelle

The Citadelle Gin brand traces its roots back to 1775, when entrepreneurs Carpeau and Stival opened a distillery in the Citadelle fortress in Dunkerque in the north of France. They were granted the privilege of producing gin, which at the time was distilled using the traditional method in copper pot stills.

The modern version of Citadelle Gin is produced in south-west France and still retains the original 17th century recipe.

The gin is the result of artisanal processing, using 19 botanicals from around the world. It is produced over an open fire in small copper stills, guaranteeing high quality and a unique taste. Citadelle Gin is now synonymous with French elegance and tradition in the field of spirits.
