City of London Distillery

The City of London distillery opened on 20 December 2012 inside the Jonathan Clark Cocktail Bar in Bride Lane, London.

Gin production began in a pair of 200-liter Clarissa and Jennifer copper stills (named after the BBC's The Two Fat Ladies food show). The first gin, true to its roots, was the classic London Dry Gin. In 2016, another larger 500 liter pot was purchased to increase production. This new larger model was introduced on the day of the Queen's 90th birthday celebration and was named Elizabeth accordingly.

Since then, Sloe gin, Old Tom gin, Christopher Wren gin and the current flavors Six Bells Lemon Gin, Murcian Orange Gin and Rhubarb and Rose Gin have been added to the range.
