Delamain XXO
Delamain XXO is a cognac blend exclusively from the Grande Champagne region, classified as the Premier Cru of Cognac, which is at the very top of the quality hierarchy of the 6 terroirs of Cognac.
This Cognac, whose youngest blends are at least 14 years old, has benefited from a long maturation in the emblematic cellar of La Maison Delamain, ideal conditions for maturing eaux-de-vie in oak barrels and achieving exceptional maturity and quality.
Delamain XXO stands out with a complexity and richness that expands the senses; it is an invitation to an exceptional journey of the senses.
Aromas of autumnal fruits such as figs, almonds and walnuts stand out on the nose, accompanied by the sweet bitterness of spices such as cloves and cardamom.
In the mouth, very pleasant sensations of tips of light Virginia tobacco or cigarette box, supple leather to lengthen nicely on the finish.
The year 1759 is the date when James Delamain, a native of Ireland, joined forces with his father-in-law Jean-Isaac Ranson, owner of an old export house whose origins go back to the very beginnings of cognac, and they founded James Delamain House. The house is still run today by James Delamain's descendants.
The bottles are bottled at 40 % ABV, 0,7 l and come in premium gift cases.
