Elements of Islay Beach Bonfire - sold out
The independent whisky brand Elements of Islay has launched a limited edition whisky Beach Bonfire to global markets, which was first introduced earlier this year at the cult whisky festival Fèis Ìle on the island of Islay.
The team aimed to create a whisky that captures "the essence of the rugged wilderness of the island and transports the drinker to the heart of this untamed land with every sip." Master Blender Oliver Chilton was reportedly "inspired by the night fire where colors, smoke, flames, and sand meet on the beach - truly representing the unique spirit and terroir of Islay.
The new version, bottled at an alcohol content of 54.5%, to align with the core range of Elements of Islay, matures in new oak casks, ex-bourbon casks and ex-sherry casks. Like the rest of the range, Beach Bonfire is non-chill filtered and retains its natural color.
