Engine Gin is a 100 % Italian gin produced in the Piedmont region. It is produced in the Torino Distillati distillery, which was founded in 1906 and specialises in traditional liqueurs and spirits.

The brand was founded in 2019 by Paolo Dalla Mora, an entrepreneur and marketing expert. He drew inspiration for this gin from the world of motorsports, which is reflected in the unconventional packaging in the shape of a motor oil can.

The gin is renowned for its Italian heritage, with notes of sage, lemon and liquorice dominating. In 2021, Illva Saronno Holding (also known for Amaretto Disaronno) acquired a 100 % stake in the brand, strengthening its international distribution.
