Italicus Rosolio of Bergamot
Italicus Rosolio di Bergamotto is a premium Italian aperitif that revives the almost forgotten tradition of Rosolio - a drink once known as "aperitivo di corte" (royal aperitif) at the court of the King of Savoy in the 18th century. This exceptional liqueur takes you on a taste journey across the whole of Italy, from north to south, combining authentic Italian ingredients, art and creativity. The name "Rosolio" comes from the Latin term "ros olis", which means "morning dew". This name refers to the harvesting of the ingredients in the early morning hours, when they have the highest concentration of flavors.
Hand-made liqueur from bergamot, also called the "green gold of Calabria", which comes from an area protected by UNESCO. This bergamot is valued for its intense aroma and strong citrus taste. The creator of Italicus is Giuseppe Gallo, who was inspired by his childhood memories on the Amalfi Coast and wanted to combine Italian art, poetry and history into one exceptional product.
Italicus is exceptional in its lightness and balance, making it the ideal aperitif that awakens the senses and opens the appetite without overwhelming it. Try serving with ice and Prosecco.
