Jägermeister 9556 Nights of Exploration
The limited edition of this Jägermeister 9556 Nights of Exploration liqueur was started by the current CEO of the brand - Dr. Günther Findel, the son-in-law of Curt Mast, the inventor of the Jägermeister herbal liqueur. His intention was to test how the base of the liqueur develops with prolonged maturation. In 1997, he placed Jägermeister in oak casks and left it to age. After 25 years and 9 556 nights in oak barrels, it became clear that his experiment had borne fruit.
This variation answers the question of what happens to the taste of Jägermeister when it is left to age for long periods of time. All the subtleties of the Jägermeister have been worked out and enriched with oak notes. A subtle blend of herbs, full of notes of anise, citrus and cloves, enhances the overall experience and harmonises with the honey sweetness and subtle fruit notes of cherry, sweet orange and vanilla.
The bottles have been filled at 40 % alcohol and the volume is 0,7 l. The gift box design is inspired by the boxes used to transport art around the world. All of these cases are made from wood from the same beech tree, which was felled just 900 metres from the Jägermeister headquarters in Wolfenbüttel.
