Jägermeister 9556 Nights of Exploration
The limited edition of this liqueur Jagermeister 9556 Nights of Exploration was initiated by the current CEO of the brand - Dr. Günther Findel, son-in-law of Curt Mast, the inventor of the herbal liqueur Jägermeister. His intention was to test how the base of the liqueur evolves during prolonged aging. In 1997, he placed Jägermeister into oak barrels and let it mature. After 25 years and 9,556 nights in an oak barrel, it turned out that his experiment bore fruit.
This variation is the answer to the question of what happens to the taste of Jägermeister when left to age over a long period. All the subtleties of Jägermeister have been refined and enriched with oak notes. The delicate blend of herbs, full of anise, citrus, and clove tones, enhances the overall experience and harmonizes with the honey sweetness and subtle fruity notes of cherries, sweet oranges, and vanilla.
Bottles were filled with an alcohol content of 40% and the volume is 0.7 l. The visual of the gift box is inspired by crates used to transport art around the world. All these boxes are made from wood from the same beech tree that was cut down just 900 meters from the Jägermeister headquarters in Wolfenbüttel.
