Kilbeggan Small Batch Rye is a limited edition from Kilbeggan distillery. It is one of the few whiskeys in the world that is distilled and matured directly in the distillery! It consists of malt, barley and about 30% rye. It represents the style of Irish whiskey, which was popular in the late 18th century.
Aroma: smooth and delicate aroma with nutty tones - especially hazelnuts. Hints of barley, sweetness of cereals and peat come to the fore.
Taste: well built body with honey sweetness and malt.
Conclusion : short, traces of dry oak wood.
