Langs

In 1861, Gavin and Alexander Lang decided to take a risky move and began doing business and selling their own whiskies and rums.

The brothers improved their production and refined their recipes so that rums and whiskies would taste to the people who were crowded with Scottish town pubs. The brothers' company flourished, and there was great demand for their products, which saw them in 1869 to purchase the Burnfoot Distillery, now known as the Glengoyne Distillery.

In the following years, there was a worldwide demand. In 2003, the family brand Ian Macleod Distillery bought the Langs brand. Today we know the brand called Langs Rum and Langs Whisky.
