Maker's Mark 46
The first extension of the line to the Maker's Mark took place in the 1950s. Maker's 46 is basically a standard whiskey with extra added pepper. Of course, with this whiskey, the manufacturer does not want to compete with the classic edition. It's something for those who like spicy bourbon. The spicy dimension of this whiskey matures in barrels with the distinctive name 46, after which the whiskey is also named. She's really amazing!
Aroma: sweet caramel and fresh sawdust. It has a very hot aroma, balanced by sweet spices and deep, thick caramel.
Taste : creamy and very delicate. It gradually opens up, in fact exploding with spicy tracks that focus on the tip of the tongue. In the spicy tones there is a clearly recognizable nutmeg, boiled pepper, vine, cinnamon. Also a hint of warm apple juice.
