Description

Mansinthe was created at the Matter Distillery near Bern and was developed by master distillers Olivier Matter and Marilyn Manson. Manson has been an avid absinthe fan for several years and has been heavily involved in the development of this well-crafted drink. From tasting samples to providing reviews and lending his art to etiquette, he continues the tradition of a controversial artist inspired by the Green Fairy.

Mansinthe uses a variety of plants, including wormwood, green anise and Florentine fennel, and this distillate is reduced to its bottling power with water from the Alps.

The result is an unusual absinthe of compelling complexity. The cup is energetic and natural green with light blue reflections and the slowly forming haze (opaque) is opaque and opalescent. Musk and earthy aromas of alpine herbs and flowers present a rounded, delicious and buttery taste with a refreshing and lasting finish.
