Description

Mansinthe was created at the Matter Distillery near Bern and was developed with the help of master distiller Olivier Matter and Marilyn Manson. Manson has been an avid fan of absinthe for several years and was heavily involved in the development of this well-crafted drink. From tasting samples to providing reviews and lending his artistry to the label, he continues the tradition of the controversial artist inspired by the green fairy.

The Mansinthe recipe is based on the many years of experience of Olivier Matter and the Lion Spirits team from the Duplais series (since 2005). Only the highest quality herbs are used, which are macerated in fine alcohol and then distilled in the traditional way. The product has a natural green colour without added sugar or artificial colours.

The result is an unusual absinthe of captivating complexity. In the glass, it is energetic and naturally green with light blue reflections, and the slowly forming cloudiness (louche) is opaque and opalescent. Musk and earthy aromas of alpine herbs and flowers introduce a rounded, delicious and buttery taste with a refreshing and lingering finish.

Mansinthe offers distinctive herbal notes – a hint of mint, aniseed, sweet grass and a bitter absinthe profile with a pleasantly refreshing undertone. When cold water is added, more delicate aromas of licorice and a more pronounced aniseed character emerge.

The bottles have a high alcohol content of up to 66,6 %.

A new product has appeared on the Slovak market that is not afraid to go against the grain. Jon Rye Wanted is a brand new whiskey from St.Nicolaus Group a.s. that does not try to compete with Scottish or Irish legends with their history and myths. Instead of endless stories about pedigree and old barrels, it brings something bolder – a pure taste and a rebellious attitude. How did it actually…
