Martell

Martell is the oldest of the large cognac companies. Like Rémy Martin, although a few years older, he will soon celebrate his 300th anniversary. The history of Martell & Co dates back to 1715, when Jean Martell founded a company with the desire to produce only the highest quality cognac. Thanks to the legendary Martell Cordon Bleu bottles, Martell Extra L'Or de Jean Martell and the latest Création Grand Extra from 2007, the company has firmly established itself in the luxury goods market. It belongs to Pernod Ricard and sells approximately 15 million liters of cognac annually. The rarest eaux-de-vie, some of which date back to 1830, are stored in a secret place in Jean Martell's cellars - about 1.6 million nine-liter boxes!
