The Isle of Wight's first and only distillery was founded in 2014 by friends Xavier Baker and Conrad Gauntlett. Combining their extensive brewing and winemaking experience with locally sourced ingredients, they have created a range of premium spirits that reflect the beauty and character of the Island they love.
The Isle of Wight Distillery's signature spirit, Mermaid Gin, is handcrafted using ten ethically sourced botanicals - three of which are grown on the island. Mermaid delivers a smooth yet complex blend of fresh organic lemon zest and spices of grains of paradise with a hint of sea air, fragrant samphire, that refreshes and invigorates.
