The company Neptune Rum was founded in 2017 in Cheltenham in the southwest of Great Britain. However, the rums are produced at the Foursquare distillery in Barbados.

The main idea of Neptune is to produce high-quality rums in a sustainable way from purely natural ingredients, but mainly to support the cleaning of waters and shorelines from current pollution and damage. They pride themselves on supporting charities and initiatives that clean waters and shorelines primarily from plastics and waste.
