Nichta Cuvée 25 Signature

Nichta Cuvée 25 Signature is a Slovak wine with a protected designation of origin, quality, red, dry, originating from the Nitra wine region, the villages of Čajkov and Drženice - the vineyards of Kruhy and Baričky.

Signature Cuvée 25 D.S.C. 2018 is a blend of varietal wines from Frankovka modrá, Dunaj, and Alibernet from the 2018 vintage. These wines first aged separately for a year in wooden barrels. After selecting the winning blend, the wines were combined and rested in wooden barrels of various sizes for another two years.

The wine is characterized at first glance by its deep ruby red color, and upon nosing, your senses will dive into several aromatic layers with notes of dark chocolate, nougat, and small berry fruits. On the palate, we find ripe cherries, blueberries, and a subtle hint of tobacco leaf. The finish is exceptionally long with a sweet aftertaste.

Serve at a temperature of 16 – 18 °C, ideally in "bordeaux" type red wine glasses with a volume of 500 – 650 ml. For a complex opening of the aroma and taste, we recommend decanting it into a carafe before drinking.
