Nichta Cuvée 25 Signature D.S.C. 2018

Nichta Cuvée 25 Signature, vintage 2018, is a Slovak wine with a protected designation of origin, quality, red, dry, originating from the Nitra wine-growing region, the villages of Čajkov and Drženice - Kruhy and Baričky counties.

Signature Cuvée 25 D.S.C. 2018 is a combination of varietal wine from Blaufränkisch, Danube and Alibernet from the year of 2018. These wines were then aged for a year separately in wooden barrels. After the winning blend was selected, the wines were combined and rested in wooden barrels of different volumes for the next two years.

At first impression, the wine is characterized by a deep ruby ​​red color. After smelling your senses will dive into several aromatic layers with notes of bitter chocolate, nougat and small berry fruits. In the taste we find ripe cherries, blueberries and a gentle whiff of tobacco leaf. The aftertaste is extremely long with a sweet finish.

Serve at a temperature of 16-18 °C, ideally in 500-650 ml Bordeaux-type red wine glasses. For the best experience of opening of the aroma and taste, we recommend decanting it into a carafe before drinking.
