The ancestors of Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut date back to 1846, when Maison Perrier-Jouët launched its historic Cuvée K, the world's first lightly dosed champagne in a style now known as brut.

Cuvée K contained less than 5% sugar, which was boldly low for a time when champagne typically contained up to 40% sugar. Maison Perrier-Jouët became famous for its brut champagnes, which it could produce because its high-quality grapes required very little added sugar - a philosophy that remains to this day.

The wine is made from grape varieties: Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Meunier. It is produced using the traditional method of secondary fermentation in the bottle.

This sparkling wine represents - joie de vivre - the joy of living, and makes every moment exceptional. The color of this vibrant cuvée resembles gold in the glass. The floral aroma is complemented by fresh fruit and a hint of buttery brioche and vanilla. The taste is fresh and light, combining freshness with a long-lasting rich finish.
