Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut
Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut is full of aromas and flavours - a beautifully rounded, generous Champagne whose joie de vivre makes every moment more special.
The ancestry of Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut dates back to 1846, when Maison Perrier-Jouët launched its historic Cuvée K, the world's first lightly dosed Champagne in the style now known as brut.
Cuvée K contained less than 5 % sugar, which was daringly low for a time when Champagne commonly contained up to 40 % sugar. Maison Perrier-Jouët became famous for its brut champagnes, which it was able to produce because its high-quality grapes required very little added sugar - a philosophy that has endured to this day.
The wine is made from Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier grape varieties. It is made using the traditional method of secondary fermentation in the bottle.
This sparkling wine represents - joie de vivre - the joy of living, and makes every moment special. The colour of this lively cuvée is reminiscent of gold in glass. The floral aroma is complemented by fresh fruit and hints of buttery brioche and vanilla. The palate is fresh and light, combining freshness with a lingering rich finish.
The bottles come in a beautiful design along with a white gift carton.
