Plant Hunter

Plant Hunter is a rum brand inspired by legendary botanical explorers who changed the world with their daring expeditions. This rum is created to transport you to the days of heroic plant hunters who traveled the world to discover new exotic plants and flavors. Stories of pirate battles, royal missions and adventures are embedded in every drop of Plant Hunter rum.

The brand's inspiration comes from the stories of botanists and surgeons who sailed from Scotland 300 years ago to find treasures in the form of plants. These intrepid individuals traveled the unknown seas to discover new colors, smells and tastes to enrich their home. Their discoveries brought back to Scotland not only new plants, but also new experiences that we can now celebrate in every glass of Plant Hunter rum.

Each Plant Hunter bottle is adorned with detailed illustrations by Helen Wilson of Witch & Watchman in Los Angeles, capturing the stories and adventures of these botanical pioneers. Illustrations include an iguana that symbolizes the use of rum from the Dominican Republic, a butterfly that recalls the journey of arrows from China, and a key that freed one of the plant hunters after being captured by pirates. These elements tell fascinating stories and give Plant Hunter rum its unique character and deep history.
