Description
Remedy Spiced is a spiced rum that harkens back to the days of prohibition in America, where rum (and alcohol in general) was hard to come by. It is created according to a recipe from 1922, which was sold in pharmacies as a medicine. So those afflicted with thirst during the Prohibition era could legally purchase Remedy Spiced Rum.
Remedy Spiced is a blended rum made from several molasses distillates. They come from the Dominican Republic, Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago. Before blending, they matured in oak barrels for a certain period of time.
Finally, it was filled into very nice bottles with a retro label and a strength of 41.5 %. We recommend serving neat at room temperature. Use a few ice cubes to soften.
