Renault XO Carte Noire
The iconic French cognac Renault XO Carte Noire is based on an original recipe dating back to 1876. The Renault brand's story dates back to 1835, when Jean Antonin Renault, a 25-year-old businessman from Charentais, created the brand in the French city of Cognac. He was the first to fill cognac in glass bottles!
The Renault XO Carte Noire is made from eaux-de-vie, which come from the Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne and Fins Bois areas. They are carefully mixed to convert their best properties into cognac. For example, eaux-de-vie Fine Champagne provides softness, while eaux-de-vie from Fins Bois brings fruitiness, floral tones and a hint of spice.
We recommend enjoying this cognac clean and at room temperature. To soften the taste, add one or two ice cubes. Finish the tasting with a fine cigar of your choice.
