Roku Japanese Craft Gin

Roku Japanese Craft Gin is a craft gin produced by Suntory in Japan. The name "Roku" (which means six in Japanese) symbolizes six unique Japanese botanicals that form its base. Each of these ingredients is harvested in the season when it reaches its peak freshness, corresponding to the Japanese concept of "Shun" – celebrating seasonal flavors and nature.

Roku is the first gin from the world-renowned Suntory distillery. It is made from botanicals, including specific types of plants that only grow in Japan. Among them are sakura leaf and flower, sencha, gyokuro, sansho, and yuzu.

These herbs showcase all four seasons in Japan. In the aroma and taste of the gin, you will certainly notice hints of ginkgo, juniper, orange peel, cinnamon, and coriander.

The bottle of Roku Gin reflects Japanese aesthetic values – it has a hexagonal shape that symbolizes the six botanicals, and the label is made from traditional Japanese washi paper. This gin is perfect for mixing in cocktails or enjoying with tonic and a slice of ginger​.
