Seagram’s Seven Crown 1l

Seagrams Seven Crown is a light blended whiskey that is described as an American icon with a rich heritage. Before blending, the whiskey was matured for a long time in oak barrels, which gave the final product an excellent vanilla flavor with notes of spices, wood, nuts and butter.

It was originally a Canadian whiskey that was extremely popular on the American market. After great demand, they decided to transfer production directly to America (specifically to the Four Roses distillery).

The mixture from which it is created consists of 75 % grain spirits (known as vodka) and the remaining 25 % 3-4 year old whiskey. Some critics call it whiskey-flavored vodka, but it tastes really excellent in cocktails.

Color: amber with brown-orange reflections
Aroma: refreshing, citrus, caramel, wood
Taste: mild, sweet, wood, pepper, cinnamon
Finish: long, cream, butter, vanilla, nuts

Whiskey fits perfectly into the original 7 & 7 cocktail, which you can easily prepare according to the instructions below.

7 & 7:
■  150 ml of Seagram's Seven Crown whiskey
■  50 ml 7UP
■  lime slice

Put ice cubes in the glass, add whiskey together with 7UP. Then mix thoroughly and garnish with a slice of lime. Cheers!
