Taylor's Old Tawny Port is a limited edition 40-year-old very rare Portuguese port that is made from a blend of several high-quality red wines. The wines come from the Douro Valley, where they matured for 40 years in seasonal oak barrels, thanks to which they acquired a spicy aroma and taste full of fruit tones.
Maturation took place in the Taylor Fladgate cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia. The cold and humid coastal climate here supports a slow and gentle aging process, creating aromas of great complexity and softness. Subsequently, the wines were mixed together for several months to achieve a perfect balance. Store the port in an upright position and protect it from light.
We recommend serving at a temperature of 12 ºC to 16 ºC. It goes well with grilled dishes, smoked cheese and fish. The bottle is contained in a black and white gift box. Does not require decantation. Only a limited number of bottles were produced!
