This is a single malt whiskey from the Macduff distillery, which you may know as Glen Deveron, but with the new line and new packaging, the name was changed to Deveron in September 2015. This is a 12-year-old whiskey.
Aroma: Sweet spices for baking, apples in caramel and ginger.
Taste: Butter candy base with wax malt and apple pie.
Conclusion: Woody pepper, vanilla and fine oak.
Overall impression: A basic type of single malt whiskey with a new look that justifiably gets more attention.
