Tiki Lovers

Tiki Lovers is a rum brand created by Stephan Berg and Alexander Hauck, who are also the creators of The Bitter Truth products. After successfully entering the tropical category with liqueurs such as Falernum and Pimento Dram, they decided to continue. While traveling as brand ambassadors, they often came across tiki cocktails that lacked their signature flavor. This inspired them to create blended rums that are ideal for making tiki and tropical cocktails.

Working as a sailor during his younger years, Stephan had the opportunity to travel to tropical countries and learn firsthand about rum production in Caribbean islands such as Jamaica, Trinidad, Cuba and Barbados. Here he gained knowledge about the heritage of rum production, blending and drinking. Alexander, a designer, bartender and passionate fan of rum, became an admirer of Polynesian pop art and culture, especially after his first visit to »Mai-Kai« in Fort Lauderdale, a 1956 tiki temple that is still in operation. Intoxicated by Polynesian dance performances and tiki drinks, he sketched out his first label ideas for their new brand of rum.

All Tiki Lovers rums are natural and have a higher alcohol concentration, which guarantees a more intense taste and aroma.
