Scottish whisky Whyte & Mackay Triple Matured undergoes a very interesting process of maturation. The triple maturation is the secret to the flavor of this whisky. First, the Master Blender carefully selects the finest Single Malt whiskies, which have matured separately for several years. Then, they are blended in ex-sherry casks to achieve flavor harmony. Finally, the blended Malt is mixed with aged grain whisky and returned to the barrel for further maturation. It is then bottled in 1l bottles.
