Loch Lomond Oloroso Sherry Cask

Loch Lomond Oloroso Sherry Cask is a modern interpretation of sherry-finished Highlands whisky. It is created through distillation in unique Straight Neck stills, which allow for precise shaping of the fruit character of the distillate.

After the initial aging, the whisky matures for an additional 6 months in certified Oloroso Sherry casks. This process imparts rich notes of dried fruit, subtle nuttiness, and a sweet undertone of brown sugar, while maintaining the freshness typical of Loch Lomond.

The aroma is dominated by vanilla, raisins, and a hint of caramel. The taste is smooth and harmonious, with notes of dried fruit, brown sugar, gentle spices, and oak wood. Compared to classic Speyside sherry whiskies, it feels fresher and fruitier.

This edition belongs to the new Original Series line and is available alongside The Original Triple Oak whisky. With an alcohol content of 40 %, it offers an accessible yet flavorful experience suitable for connoisseurs and new explorers of the sherry style.

We recommend serving it neat or with a splash of water, which will enhance the sweet sherry notes.
