Loch Lomond Original Triple Oak is a Highland single malt whisky that represents a cornerstone of the brand's portfolio and the heart of the new Original Series. The distillate is created by combining Swan Neck and Straight Neck stills, which allow for a complex and balanced character of the whisky.
The whisky matures in a combination of first fill, refill, and re-charred American oak casks. This triple maturation brings depth, gentle sweetness, and a balanced oak profile while preserving the freshness of the fruity distillate.
The aroma is dominated by orchard fruits, honey, and subtle smoke. The taste is smooth and harmonious, with notes of apple, pear, caramelized honey, and a hint of soft smoke. The whisky feels approachable while maintaining the characteristic complexity of the Highland style.
