A.H. Riise Royal Danish Navy Frogman Conventus Ranae
A.H. Riise Frogman Conventus Ranae is a modern form of marine rum that has a history of almost 200 years in the Royal Danish Navy. Frogman Conventus Ranae is a hand-mixed mixture with a master distiller and aged in beautiful barrels - each with a unique history.
All AH Riise rums from the Royal Danish Navy collection are traditionally blended as distinctive and strong rums inspired by rough life at sea. These rums have a molasses base and are produced by slow fermentation.
Rum A.H. Riise Royal Danish Navy Frogman Conventus Ranae commemorates the leached members of the Danish Frogman Corp. Frogman Corps were founded in 1957. Shrouded men in black, with a net on their heads, slowly approaching from the water to the shore. Their task was naval military operations. Coventus Ranae (Latin for "gathering of frogs") is a formal society that aims to strengthen ties between active Frogmen and retired Frogmen.
The rum has an alcohol strength of 60 %, in honor of the 60th anniversary of this association.
