Rum matures in American oak barrels after bourbon from five to eight years. The color is light amber. This rum is exceptionally soft, full of taste and energy. This plays a big role in bartenders who like to use it in cocktails. It is slightly sweet and aromatic with the taste of a fruit cake. You can smell caramel, pepper, vanilla and apple.
