Ben Lomond Open Special Edition 2024
The exclusive Ben Lomond Open Special Edition 2024 gin, which has been produced in honour of the 152nd Royal Troon golf tournament, features hand-selected botanicals including wild elderflower, herbs and blackberry leaves.
The resulting spirit is as bold, wild and captivating as Royal Troon itself, revealing complex layers of sweet, herbal and floral flavours.
As you wander between fairways, on the backs of greens and out of bounds, you can experience the natural wonders that have shaped Royal Troon. It is from these places that the wild botanicals for this gin's recipe have been selected to distil the very essence of Royal Troon and create a gin that is as bold, wild and captivating as the golf course itself.
Forty miles south of the top of Ben Lomond lies a small cairn on the west side of Prestwick Golf Club, marking the spot where the first ever tee shot in the Open was hit. The place where the pioneers of modern golf began to dream of a tournament "open" to the whole world, where people from far-flung continents would dare to compete for golf's top prize.
For more than 160 years, the world's best players have battled the relentless challenge of golf at The Open, using their skill, wits and endurance to master some of the world's greatest and most naturally stunning courses.
The bottles were filled with 43 % alcohol at 0,7 l.
