BenRiach 12 Year Old The Twelve

BenRiach 12 Year Old The Twelve is another great whisky from BenRiach. The triple maturation in ex-sherry, ex-bourbon and port wine casks has given it exceptional character and smoothness.

Along with the additional two years in cask, the 12-year-old whisky swaps virgin oak from the 10-year-old whisky for port casks, adding a rich baked fruit character and subtle spice to an already rich and aromatic drink.

BenRiach Distillery is a well-known whisky producer located in the heart of the Speyside region of Scotland. The distillery was founded in 1898 and has a rich history spanning over a century, during which time it has earned a reputation for producing exceptional single malt Scotch whiskies. BenRiach Distillery is renowned for its dedication to traditional methods and prides itself on its hands-on approach to whisky production.

To produce Benriach Twelve, the Benriach spirit is matured in three casks for a minimum of 12 years in sherry, bourbon and port casks. The whisky from each cask is then expertly blended to create a smooth single malt whisky rich in sherry, with layers of baked fruit, maple honey and cocoa, perfectly balanced with a lingering sultana and spicy mocha finish.

Bottled at 46 % ABV and 0,7 l in volume. They are supplied in gift tubes.
