Blackwoods 2017 Vintage Dry Gin 60%
Blackwoods Gin is produced by distillation in copper containers from herbs that are collected by hand on the island of Shetland. In order to obtain the best extract from the plants, the plants are leached in a slightly heated neutral cereal distillate the night before the distillation itself. This helps to balance their properties. The mixing process requires time and skill to achieve a balanced fusion of the formed concentrate with the alcohol. Blender master Andrew Bartlem has been creating high quality and award-winning gins for over thirty years and is proud to produce them for Blackwoods Dry Gin. Gin has an alcohol content of 60% for a very interesting reason. The island of Shetland is located at 60 ° latitude and therefore has a gin of 60%.
Aroma : juniper, herbal and citrus tones.
Taste : in the climate it is very slightly sweet and floral, it is deliciously compensated by the warm glow of 60% alcohol.
