Bladnoch Dragon Series Iteration IV The Ageing

The brand Bladnoch has introduced a limited edition of a new single malt whisky called Dragon Series Iteration. The fourth whisky is named The Ageing. This whisky comes from the Lowland region.

The Dragon Series pays tribute to the timeless struggle between science and nature. Inspired by the dragon curve, a fractal curve in mathematics that arises from a simple beginning. With each iteration, as it approaches infinity, unpredictability is controlled - until chaos evolves into a natural, magnificent order.

Iteration IV focuses on the longest, most complex, and least understood maturation process. Casks filled with new distillate undergo years and decades of interactions with the surrounding environment, creating an unpredictable structure for the future whisky. Those who store the casks pass them on to the next generation. Seasonal temperature and humidity fluctuations, type and location of the warehouse provide significant complexity that must be managed. Casks were sourced from the darkest and coldest places in Bladnoch's warehouses to amplify these effects in The Ageing.

Bottles are filled with an alcohol content of 51.5% and are delivered in gift boxes.
