Bulleit

Bulleit is an American whiskey brand that has gained recognition for its unique rye flavor. The brand was founded in the 1830s by Augustus Bulleit, who aimed to create a unique bourbon whiskey with a high rye content. After his mysterious disappearance, the brand was revived by his great-great-grandson Tom Bulleit in 1987.

Bulleit specializes in the production of bourbon and rye whiskey. Bulleit Bourbon is known for its high rye content (about 28%) and Bulleit Rye is 95% rye whiskey.

In 2017, the Bulleit brand celebrated its 30th anniversary with the opening of a new, state-of-the-art distillery in Shelbyville, KY. This distillery was built with an emphasis on sustainable practices including protecting natural habitats, conserving water and using local ingredients.
