The first Slovak pine distillate. The traditional folk alcoholic drink Borovička is an inseparable part of the Slovak cultural heritage. Although many written memoirs have been irretrievably lost, we can read from the preserved ones that pine was produced in the territory of today's Slovakia at the beginning of the 19th century, in the region of today's Spiš.
