Limited edition port wine Croft Late Bottled Vintage from the best full-body red port varieties, harvest year 2017. These wines aged in wood for 6 years and then mixed. The mixing process ensures that the wine is balanced and complete. With continuities in relation to previous Croft Late Bottled Vintage wines.
Wine year 2017 and harvest:
Rainfall was very low during the winter months, but the rains at the beginning of winter were sufficient to provide groundwater to the roots and avoid drought. The early spring was also relatively dry and this was an important factor in ensuring a perfect harvest. At the beginning of the summer, the hot seasons accelerated the ripening process and the tufts at the time of harvest were perfectly shaped and healthy.
