De Luze XO Fine Champagne
De Luze XO Fine Champagne is a unique blend of eaux-de-vie from Grande and Petite Champagne, the most prestigious cognac AOC terroir, combined to create Fine Champagne Cognac.
The eaux-de-vie is aged in French oak barrels, then blended by the cellar master using traditional techniques. The blend shapes body and roundness, giving De Luze XO Cognac its finesse and elegance on the palate.
In 1817, Alfred De Luze and his brother Louise-Philippe founded a wine and cognac export company in New York. In 1822, the De Luze Alfred A. & Son of Luze in Bordeaux. In 1862, Alfred Luze bought the Domaine du Chaigne in the Grande Champagne growing region to start producing cognacs. After a period of inactivity at the beginning of the 20th century, Michel Boinaud relaunched the distillery in 1940.
De Luze's headquarters are located in Angeac-Champagne in the French department of Charente, approximately 7 miles south of Cognac. Deluze has its own cooperage, which produces and repairs casks.
