Di Camillo Tenute del Pojo Sodera Passerina
White, dry, Italian wine Di Camillo Tenute del Pojo Sodera Passerina, Chieti wine-growing region, Abruzzo, Terre di Chieti Pecorino I.G.P., grape variety 100 % Passerina.
Passerina is an indigenous grape variety grown in the Italian wine regions of Abruzzo, Lazio and Marche. The berries of this excellent white grape are relatively small and are often eaten by sparrows, hence its name.
The Di Camillo Vini winery has been a family-run business in the Abruzzo region of Italy for over 100 years. Initially, only a very small quantity of wine was produced, which was mainly supplied to regular customers.
The straw-yellow Passerina Bianco from the Terre de Chieti vineyard has a wonderfully fragrant bouquet with fruity flavours of apple and jasmine. On the palate, the Sodera Passerina scores with a fresh and full flavour, fine acidity and a mineral finish.
Recommended to serve with pasta, salads, fish and risotto.
