Drumshanbo Single Pot Still
Each precious drop of Drumshanbo Single Pot Still has been triple distilled at the Shed Distillery using malted Irish barley, unmalted Irish barley and Barra Irish oats. This 43 % Single Pot Still, aged in ex-sherry Oloroso and ex-bourbon Kentucky casks with no added colouring and no chill filtration, was distilled by Master Distiller - Brian Taft.
Unmalted barley combines with Barra Oats to give a silky mouthfeel and creates an interesting creaminess and spiciness in the finish that really sets this Irish whiskey apart.
This small batch 'Single Pot Still' Irish whiskey is exceptionally smooth, creamy, spicy and a real delight for the senses. The first Irish whiskey from the western province of Connacht in over 105 years. This whisky has been a long time coming, and it has indeed been worth the wait.
