Finlaggan Red Wine Cask

The Red Wine Cask is a special new addition to the Finlaggan family. It is an exclusive single malt that was distilled in an unknown distillery on the island of Islay.

It was matured exclusively in ex-wine Rioja Hogshead casks, which gave the heavily peated whisky an extra fruity dimension. After aging, the whisky was bottled with a 46 % alcohol content in a limited number of 7000 bottles!

It is made without cold filtration and added dyes. This special combination of flavors will stir your taste buds with a pleasant sweetness, which will then ignite with spicy notes of smoke and peat. The whisky comes in a cream-purple gift box.

Color: amber with orange-red highlights
Aroma: fruit, smoke, peat, spice, oak, flowers, vanilla
Taste: slightly spicy, earthy, raisins, peat, cherries
Finish: long, expressive, pepper, malt, smoke, ginger, bacon
