Hatozaki

Hatozaki is a Japanese blended whiskey produced in the Kaikyo Distillery. The symbol of Hatozaki whiskey is the oldest lighthouse in Japan, which stands near the distillery and has been helping sailors navigate the stormy waters around Akashi Harbor since 1620. The lighthouse is a symbol of reliability, openness to the wider world and trade, which has enabled the exchange of goods and knowledge. This approach is also followed by the manufacturer during production. After the first 100 years of its existence, the Hatozaki home distillery underwent an innovation and in 2017 replaced the old distillation equipment with a modern twin-pot still distillation equipment from the renowned Scottish company Forsyth's.
