Hernö Old Tom Gin

Hernö Old Tom Gin is made from the same base as Hernö Dry Gin, but the mixture of botany will enrich the elm flower during distillation. After dilution to 43 %, a pinch of sugar is added. Sweetening raises floral tones, relaxes junipers and makes gin even smoother.

Organic Old Tom Gin is of exceptional quality with excellent taste and simple Swedish design, dating back to the 18th century, when gin was banned. A black wooden cat placed above the bar meant that they served illegal drinks in the establishment. Legend has it that when a cat had a penny in its mouth, a gin was served through a hidden tube in one of its paws.
