J&J Ostrožovič Tokaj selection 5-puttonyos
The excellent and award-winning yellow sweet wine J&J Ostrožovič Tokaj selection 5-puttonyos, vintage 2007, is a typical tokaj in distinctive taste and aroma. It has a classic breadiness to it. The taste further blends notes of black coffee and bitter chocolate. The aroma of roses joins in, and a typical honeyed finish completes the overall enjoyment of this delicious drink.
The Tokaj 5-puttonyos selection is made from grapes that have been affected by edelfaule, also known as 'grey mould'. This fungal infection creates the ideal conditions for concentrated, sweet wines. The ripe grapes are selectively picked berry by berry, ensuring that only the best grapes make it into the wine.
The wine is called '5-puttonyos' because it is made from grapes that have been harvested at five different stages of ripening. Each stage adds specific aromas and flavours to the wine. Grapes with varying levels of ripeness and mould are gradually harvested, resulting in a subtle and complex fusion of different elements.
The natural residual sugar is 131 g/l. The bottle is 0,5l.
